７月と８月の行事をまとめて報告します。夫婦達は料理教室でジェリートライフルという英国典型的なデザートの作り方を学んだり、子ども達がめぐみキッズで自分のクッキーを楽しんで作ったりしました。今月、シンガポールから来たボランティアの方、サラ・クイーが様々な行事を手伝ってもらって感謝です。８月８日の「茶道と聖書」で、佐々木先生は茶道の文化を味わせてくださいました。そして、日の出さん（気仙沼聖書バプテスト教会）はご自分の人生のストーリーを分かち合い、茶道の慣習と聖書の教えがどのように重なっているか語ってくださいました。

This is a report on our activities in July and August. The ladies learned how to make Jelly Truffle, an English styled dessert at the cooking class, and the kids had fun making their own cookies at Megumi Kids. We are thankful for Sara Kwee, a volunteer from Singapore, who helped us with various activities this month. On 8th August, we had a ‘Japanese tea and the Bible’ event, and we are thankful to Mrs. Sasaki for giving us a taste of Japanese tea culture. Mr. Hinode (Kesennuma Bible Baptist Church) gave his testimony (life story) and spoke about how practices in the Japanese tea ceremony relate to teachings in the Bible.
